In every woman's heart lies a desire to feel good, be respected, and express herself, not just for her beauty, but for the light she carries within.
This understanding has been at the core of our founder, Sammi Tolliver’s journey as a licensed cosmetologist, a passion she has nurtured professionally, since 2004.
For Sammi, the salon has always been more than just a place of work; it has been her feminine retreat—a space where, amidst the demands of being a mom to three sons, she found her "girl time." This time was sacred, filled with the camaraderie of women, the magic of transformation, and the joy of making others feel their best.
As her career evolved, Sammi began to focus on what truly resonated with her: nurturing healthy hair, and offering natural hair care and hair extension services that empower women to shine.
Over the years her vision has evolved from opening her first salon studio in 2011, to co-owning two storefront salons and a hair extension boutique from 2015-2019.
When challenges were presented in 2019 Sammi embraced them as opportunities for growth and made the difficult decision to pivot, restructure, and align with her core values of empowering others. The five-year journey after that allowed her to study natural cosmetic formulation and complete the We Rise, Local First business accelerator.
In August 2024, The Luxe Nūr Hair Collective was born from this vision. The name itself is a reflection of the brand's essence—"Luxe," representing high end quality, and "Nūr," a nod to light, enlightenment, and illumination. Together, they embody the dual mission of providing not only the finest hair extensions and services but also a transformative experience that leaves clients feeling like luxury and radiant inside and out.
The Luxe Nūr Hair Collective is more than a salon—it’s a movement. It’s about celebrating the light within each client, and about creating a space where confidence meets healthy hair care, and beauty is both seen and felt.

Soon, this commitment to excellence will extend beyond the salon chair, as Sammi is currently studying organic skin and hair care product formulation. Her upcoming product line will be a testament to her dedication to quality and natural beauty.
Luxe Nūr also proudly retails high-quality hair extensions, sourced from the temples of India, ensuring that every strand is as authentic and luxurious as the service provided.
